After resoldering D18 and adjusting vr4 i was able to get 8w dead key and 20-22w swing. Modulation previously was around 20-30% and after the tune it came up to 60% which leaves plenty of room for a power mic to be added later. This radio is equipped with a 1969 final transistor so the power output is in the right ball park.
