I recently bought a new PC and of course it came with Windows 7. I really don't like the Windows Live Mail because one is only allowed one listing for ones contacts, unlike Outlook Express which has the 'Main Contacts,' 'Secondary Contacts,' 'Backup Contacts' 'Infrequent Contacts,' etc.

I just don't like the idea of picking through my entire listing of contacts just to send an email. Question: I have to ask this, only because of all the problems I've had with Windows 7 so far. 'Is it possible to uninstall the Windows Live Mail, and install an updated version of Outlook Express, without any big issues'?

Due to limitation of our test environment I afraid we cannot test XP mode on our test machine. I notice that you download the outlook express 6.0 from the RunAsXP website, since it is a 3rd party website, I’m afraid Microsoft would not provide the official support. In the other hand, personally I did the same test for you. I downloaded the outlook express 6.0 from the RunAsXP website, and the result is same as yours, I could not change the installation path of the outlook express. The screenshot is below: In the screenshot the select button is gray, so we are unable to select the installation path manually, and I suppose that the problem is not related to your system.
