The way of installing the styles depends on the version of Capture One you're using. In Capture One 10.1 Styles tool was completely rebuilt to make user experience. The styles are very easy to install, and Capture One also makes it easy to organize your added styles, as long as you take a bit of care during installation.

There are two ways to install styles in Capture One. You can import them directly from the software.

To do this go to menu and choose: Adjustments >Styles >Import You can then navigate to the styles folder that you downloaded, and select all the files within and choose import. This way is the easier way, but they will all be lumped in together in the root level of the menu. In order to install them into their own sub-menu, you need to copy them to the right place on your computer.

On A Mac • Quit Capture One • Locate the files you just downloaded. Copy the entire folder of styles - for example: “ SilverLUX” by selecting the folder and pressing Command + C or choosing Copy from the edit menu. • Navigate to the following place in the finder. The easiest way to do this is: go to the Finder and then from the Go menu choose Go To Folder. Then copy and paste the following path into the dialog that pops up.

~/Library/Application Support/Capture One/Styles And click ok. • Once here, choose paste from the edit menu or press command + v to paste the folder of files you copied earlier. • Relaunch Capture One (or wait till you install the presets - see below) On a PC • Quit Capture One • Locate the files you just downloaded. Copy the entire folder of styles - for example: “SilverLUX” by selecting it and pressing Ctrl + C or by right clicking on the folder and choosing copy. • Navigate to the following place in the Windows Explorer: C: Users username AppData Local CaptureOne Styles50 (Note: C = your drive letter username = your own user name) • Once here, right click and choose paste or press ctrl + v to paste the folder of files you copied earlier. • Relaunch Capture One (or wait till you install the presets - see below) Note that if you’re on a PC you may see a directory labelled “_MacOSX” This is a special mac folder and you can just ignore it on the PC.
